How your QR content stays in your browser, and how optional analytics and feedback work.

Your QR content stays in your browser

Your entries, QR code preview and download files are created in your browser. We do not upload your QR content or keep a history of your codes. Changing the content, resetting the form or leaving the page clears the current result.

Anyone with a downloaded QR code can read its contents. Share Wi-Fi passwords and contact details carefully. Files you save, browser autofill and browser extensions are controlled by your device and browser.

There are no ads or third-party tracking scripts.

Optional anonymous analytics

Usage analytics is off until you choose Allow analytics. If you allow it, we count page views, QR formats used, generation attempts, resets and PNG/SVG downloads. These records contain no QR content, personal information, IP addresses, visitor identifiers, device details or location.

Use Analytics preferences in the footer to change your choice at any time. Declining has no effect on the generator or feedback. Your browser remembers your analytics choice; if it cannot save preferences, the choice lasts for the current page.

Storage and retention: Usage records are kept for three months, separately from feedback.

Optional ratings and feedback

After you download a QR code, we invite you to leave a one-to-five-star rating and an optional comment of up to 1,000 characters. Your QR code is ready to use, and feedback is completely optional. You can close the window without responding. Nothing is sent until you select Send feedback.

A submission contains only your rating, comment and QR format. It does not automatically include your QR content or downloaded file. Please leave personal information and QR content out of your comment. Feedback helps improve the generator and is not a support request.

Storage and retention: Submitted feedback is kept for three months, separately from usage analytics. We do not add IP addresses or visitor identifiers to feedback records.

Using your browser safely

Keep your browser and extensions up to date. A QR code makes information easy to share; it does not encrypt it. Only enter information you are comfortable sharing with the people who will receive the code.
